Ministries & Organizations

Adult Choir– Parishioners, high school age or older, who enjoy music and singing are invited to participate in the Adult Choir. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm in the choir loft (late September through Easter season). Ability to read music is helpful but not a requirement. Altar Servers – Students in fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades are trained to serve at the parish’s Masses. For additional information, please contact the rectory office at 610-532-5800.

Altar Linens – Altar linens are washed and ironed by women from our parish. For more information, please contact the parish office at 610-532-5800.

Cantors – Parishioners who are gifted with a talent for singing are invited to be cantors (leaders of song) at weekend masses and other liturgies. Ability to read music is helpful but not a requirement. For additional information, please contact Dolores at 484-832-5450.

Catechists – Volunteers that are dedicated to fulfilling the religious educational needs of our parish youth through teaching our evening religious education program or teaching during the Children’s Liturgy of the Word. For additional information, please call the rectory at 610-532-5800.

Counters of the Sunday Collection – Parishioners count and prepare the bank deposits for the Sunday collection on Sunday morning. The teams rotate the weekends and volunteer every 8 weeks. CYO Athletics – The parish’s athletic program provides the students of the parish with opportunities to play in various sports.

Extraordinary Minsters of the Holy Eucharist – Parishioners have been appointed to serve as Extraordinary Ministers to assist with distribution of Holy Communion at Mass. For more information, please contact Father Gillin at 610-532-5800.

Finance Council – The pastor selects members of the parish with appropriate backgrounds to serve on the council in an advisory capacity. For more information, please contact the Pastor.

Food Dollars–a.k.a. Scrip – Cards available for purchases at various local stores/national chains, such as, Acme, Giant, Kohl’s, Guys’s, and Tweedy’s. This program is an important fundraiser for our parish and school families can earn credits toward the Catholic school tuition. Homebound Ministry – Extraordinary Ministers bring the Holy Eucharist to the sick and homebound parishioners. For more information, please contact one of the parish priests at 610-532-5800.

Lectors – Lectors are assigned to do scriptural readings at Masses. High school students, college students and adults are invited to serve. For more information, please contact Mary Lou Lawless at 610-544-9698.

Parish Facilities Scheduling – To schedule a parish organizations’ meeting or event, please contact the rectory office between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at 610-532-5800.

Pastoral Council – The Pastoral Council recommends to and reviews parish pastoral plans with the pastor. Some members are appointed by the pastor while others are elected by the parish membership. All members are assigned terms. Please watch the Sunday bulletins for updates regarding the Council.

Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) – Religious education is provided weekly for parish students enrolled in public schools. For information regarding enrollment, please call the rectory at 610-532-5800.
