Baptism, the Eucharist, and the sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the “sacraments of Christian initiation, whose unity must be safeguarded. It must be explained to the faithful that the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace.

Confirmation is performed once a year for eligible students who have been prepared for the sacrament through the teachings at our parish school or the Parish Religious Education Program (usually when they are in sixth grade). Special classes prepare older students.Sponsors must provide a letter of eligibility from their parish at least six months before Confirmation. Please refer to the section titled Sponsors and Godparents for the guidelines regarding eligible sponsors.
